A partnership between "webook" and Al-Raja.
RAJA S.A, the company responsible for managing the sports and commercial activities of the Raja Club Athletic, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with the platform webook.com, which will exclusively manage the club's electronic tickets for the next three seasons. This move aims to modernize the ticket purchasing experience and enhance the digital services provided to the team's fans.
The company clarified in a press release received by Hespress that this partnership is part of a comprehensive strategy to modernize various club activities by adopting a new digital system that meets international standards in ticket sales, allowing supporters a more accessible, smooth, and secure experience, starting from the purchase process to entering the stadium.
According to the statement, the new system will offer a range of innovative services that will be gradually integrated, including the ability to select seats accurately and view them in 3D, fully adopting digital tickets, launching an official ticket resale market for cases where supporters cannot attend the match, in addition to providing an official store for the club's digital products.
RAJA S.A. confirmed that the new platform will gradually evolve to add other services aimed at making match days more interactive and personalized, responding to the aspirations of Raja fans and keeping pace with the digital transformations occurring in the football industry internationally.
The company believes that updating the ticketing system is one of the key pillars in the club's development strategy, not only from a technological standpoint but also by enabling it to improve its understanding of its fans, strengthen direct relationships with supporters, and develop match revenue management in a more sustainable and effective manner.
The statement indicated that the choice of webook.com came after an evaluation process that included the quality of the proposed technological solutions, user experience, the operational capabilities of the partner, and its ability to support a club with a large fan base like Raja Club Athletic.
In this context, Nawal Al-Aidawi, the General Director of RAJA S.A., stated that "the supporters are at the heart of the club's development strategy," considering that "the new ticket project is not limited to digitizing the sales process but aims to provide a simpler, smoother, and safer experience, while enabling the club to better understand the aspirations of its fans and build a stronger relationship with them in the long term."
For its part, the webook.com platform confirmed that it will leverage its technological and operational expertise to develop a comprehensive system that aligns with the size of the club and the requirements for organizing its matches, ensuring high levels of security and reliability, especially in facing ticket resales outside official channels and the black market.
