The U19 League launches with the participation of international clubs
Mohamed Wehbe, coach of the Moroccan national team, kicked off the eighth session of the International Under-19 League, today, Wednesday, at the Mohammed VI Football Academy, in the presence of a group of sports figures.
This event is marked by the participation of a number of the most prominent international football schools, in an annual date that continues to attract the interest of major clubs looking to develop their young talents.
Moroccan football is represented in this edition by the Mohammed VI Academy, Al-Fateh Sports Club and Nahdet Berkane, with the ambition of recording a distinguished presence against well-established clubs from Europe, South America and Asia.
The tournament witnesses the participation of clubs known for their strong formation, including Monaco, Stade Rennes, Villarreal and Como 1907, along with Vitoria Guimarães, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Boca Juniors, AZ Alkmaar, Al Ain, Palmeiras, Hajduk Split, and Aspire Academy.
The opening day program extends for five hours of continuous matches, in a start that is expected to reveal the first features of competition within the groups, given the diversity of participating football schools.
