Morocco hosts the U17 Africa Cup
Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football, renewed his full confidence in the organizational capabilities of the Kingdom of Morocco, announcing that Morocco will host the finals of the African Under-17 Cup that qualifies for the World Cup.
Motsepe praised the Moroccan initiatives, which often save the situation, by submitting individual nominations to host continental events, stressing at the same time that Morocco will host the Women's Africa Cup on its pre-arranged dates.
The President of the Confederation of African Football said, during the Executive Office meeting on Sunday, that the continental institution places the principle of equality and justice among all member associations above all considerations, far from any favouritism.
Motsepe added that the current priority of the Confederation of African Football is to ensure the success of the ongoing continental competitions, most notably the African Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
