Grindo coaches the Jordanian U-23 team
The Jordanian Football Association announced the appointment of Moroccan coach Abdel Latif Grindo as coach of the Jordanian national team for under 23 years, as part of preparations for the upcoming events, most notably the Olympic Games scheduled for Los Angeles in 2028.
The Jordanian Federation explained, through its official website, that choosing Grindo comes in view of the experience he has accumulated in the field of training, as he holds the CAF Pro professional training certificate, in addition to training licenses (C, B, and A), and he also obtained a second-class diploma in sports training from Germany, in addition to a certificate in sports management.
Grindo has previously marked a distinguished career as a player, as he defended the colors of a number of clubs, most notably Raja Athletic Club, who won several local and continental titles with him, including the African Champions League and the African Super Cup. He also participated with him in the Club World Cup competitions, in addition to having professional experiences in the Emirati and Saudi leagues.
At the training level, Grindo, in turn, has accumulated a range of experiences within the national championship, where he supervised the training of a number of Moroccan clubs. He also previously worked with the Moroccan national team for under 17 years, in addition to holding the position of director of the football school at Raja Sports Club.
