TFC – OM: Nayef Aguerd and Bilal Nadir absent from the Marseille group
Olympique de Marseille has revealed the list of players selected for the trip to Toulouse in Ligue 1, with the absence of the two Moroccan internationals Nayef Aguerd and Bilal Nadir.
The Marseille club is preparing to face Toulouse FC this Saturday evening as part of the 25th day of the French championship. This meeting comes only a few days after the elimination of Marseille against the same opponent in the Coupe de France, at the Vélodrome stadium.
Marseille coach Habib Beye has called a group of 22 players for this trip. Among those absent are the Atlas Lions, Nayef Aguerd and Bilal Nadir.
Aguerd's absence was expected, the Moroccan defender having carried out individual indoor training in recent days. For his part, the absence of Bilal Nadir had already been announced by the coach during his pre-match press conference.
On the other hand, the Marseille list records the return of two important players with Jurriën Timber and Amine Gouiri. Their presence offers more tactical options to the technical staff for this important match in the championship.
Marseille will thus try to take their revenge on Toulouse and move forward after their recent elimination in the cup.
