Morocco is preparing for the World Cup with 3 friendly matches.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced the preparatory program that the Moroccan national team will undergo in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals, scheduled for next summer in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The federation confirmed, in an official statement, that the "Atlas Lions" will play three friendly matches in the upcoming period as part of their preparations for the World Cup, starting with a match against the Burundi national team on May 26 at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, in a game that will be held without an audience.
The same source added that the national team will face the Madagascar national team on June 2, starting at 6 PM, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, and the preparations will conclude with a match against the Norway national team on June 7 at 3 PM local time, at the "Red Bull Arena" in New York City, USA.
The federation, in coordination with the national team's technical staff, aims to provide the best preparation conditions during the critical phase leading up to the World Cup, focusing on testing the players' readiness by facing teams that employ playing styles similar to those that the "Atlas Lions" will encounter in the finals.
It is worth noting that the draw for the 2026 World Cup placed the Moroccan national team in Group C, alongside the national teams of Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti.
