A deal worth 2.68 billion dirhams accelerates the construction of the Grand Stadium of Casablanca.
The National Agency for Public Equipment announced the launch of an open international tender with price offers, concerning the external development works of the Grand Stadium of Casablanca "Hassan II Complex" in the Ben Slimane region. This step comes as part of accelerating the pace of work on this massive sports facility.
This announcement pertains to lot number 7 related to the "external development" of the stadium. The agency has estimated the cost of carrying out these works at a substantial amount of 2,681,583,684 dirhams (two billion six hundred and eighty-one million five hundred and eighty-three thousand six hundred and eighty-four dirhams), including taxes.
To ensure the seriousness of the submitted offers, the amount of the provisional guarantee for participation in this tender has been set at 45,000,000 dirhams (forty-five million dirhams).
The special conditions document accompanying the announcement of the tender reveals precise details and a massive scope of work related to the seventh lot of the Grand Stadium of Casablanca construction project in the Ben Slimane region. This lot concerns the "external development" and is overseen by the National Company for the Construction and Management of Sports Facilities (SONARGES) as the project owner, delegated by the National Agency for Public Equipment.
The project is not limited to paving roads; it includes a comprehensive development of the stadium's surroundings to ensure its operational and security functionality. The scope of work includes the construction of roads, access paths, intersections, squares, pedestrian walkways, as well as the construction of technical facilities and corridors for traffic and network distribution, in addition to functional buildings for operation, maintenance, and security, establishing sanitation networks (wastewater and rainwater), connecting to water, electricity, telecommunications, and fiber optic networks, as well as preparing green spaces, irrigation systems, and providing urban furniture such as benches, trash bins, safety barriers, signage, lighting, and installing solar panels.
