Report: Zidane as coach of France until 2030.

Famous transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed via his Instagram account today, Tuesday, that the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as the head coach of the French national football team is a done deal, noting that he has signed a contract with the "Les Bleus" until mid-2030.

It has been expected for a long time that Zidane, 54, would take over the French national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps, who left the team after 14 years in the position, during which he led the "Les Bleus" to win the World Cup in 2018, before finishing as runners-up in the following edition in 2022, and then securing fourth place in the most recent World Cup this year.

The leading French sports newspaper "L'Équipe" recently reported that the former world and European champion will take charge of the French national team, while no official confirmation has yet been issued by the French Football Federation regarding Zidane's appointment.

Zidane previously managed the Spanish team Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018, and then from 2019 to 2021, during which he won the UEFA Champions League three times and the Spanish league title twice.
