Spain insists on the final of the "2030 World Cup."

Spain's desire to win the final match of the 2030 World Cup, jointly hosted with Morocco and Portugal, is continuously increasing, and this time it was confirmed by the current president of its federation that "there is no justification to prevent that."

Rafael Lozano, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, stated in remarks to the newspaper "AS" that in the face of the significant challenge of organizing the 2030 World Cup, the bids must be completely cohesive, pointing out that the file includes three continents and six countries in cooperation with "FIFA," and that Spain bears about 55 percent of the organizational burden.

Lozano explained that the debate over the location of the final match will remain present, but he emphasized that now is not the right time to resolve or delve into this issue.

The president of the Spanish Football Federation added that he sees no justification preventing Spain from hosting the final match of the World Cup in its centenary edition, affirming that the federation will work to achieve this goal.

Rafael Lozano concluded by emphasizing that the priority is to maintain the cohesion of the joint file and work with all partners to organize "the best World Cup in history" coinciding with the centenary of the competition.

A source from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation previously denied the statements made by Luis Manuel Rubiales Bejar, the former president of the Spanish Football Federation, who claimed that "Morocco had agreed to host Spain for the final of the 2030 World Cup."

Rubiales stated, in remarks reported by the Spanish network "EDATV," that "Morocco and Portugal agreed, during the initial discussions regarding the 2030 World Cup file, that Spain would host the final match," noting that this understanding was part of the agreement that allowed the submission of the tri-nation file in a unified manner.

The former Spanish official clarified that Morocco set a fundamental condition to be a full partner in organizing the tournament, not just a host country for a limited number of matches, confirming that this condition was accepted by the other parties during the negotiations.

Rubiales added that including Morocco in the joint file was a decisive factor in enhancing the chances of winning the hosting rights, considering that the Spanish-Portuguese file would not have achieved the same success without Morocco's involvement, given the balance it provided in terms of international support.

However, a source from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation expressed surprise, in a statement to Hespress, at Rubiales' remarks, confirming that they are "unrealistic and incorrect," stressing that Morocco has an institution working on the World Cup organization file, which holds certainty regarding the various data related to this tournament.
