A Slovenian will officiate the 2026 World Cup final.
It has been decided that Slovenian Slavko Vinčić will officiate the World Cup final match between Spain and Argentina, this coming Sunday.
FIFA announced that Vinčić will manage the final match of the World Cup, assisted by Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic.
Jordanian Adham Makhadmeh has also been appointed as the fourth official, according to the British news agency (PA Media).
The final is set to take place in East Rutherford, New Jersey, after Argentina secured their spot in the final by defeating England, while Spain triumphed over France in the semifinals.
