"2026 World Cup" .. Wahbi unveils the official list of the "Atlas Lions".

National coach Mohamed Wahbi revealed the official list of the Moroccan national team participating in the 2026 World Cup during a press conference held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat this Tuesday evening.

The final list of the "Atlas Lions" includes 26 players, as follows:

Yassine Bounou – Munir Mohamedi – Reda Tagnaouti – Achraf Hakimi – Noussair Mazraoui – Anas Salah Eddine – Youssef Belaili – Zakaria Wahidi – Nayef Aguerd – Riad Chadi – Ridouan Halhal – Issa Diop – Samir Mourabit – Ayoub Bouaddi – Nail Al-Ainawi – Sofyan Amrabat – Azeddine Ounahi – Bilal El Khannous – Ismail Sabari – Abdessamad Ezzalzouli – Shams Eddine Talbi – Sofyan Rahimi – Ayoub El Kaabi – Ibrahim Diaz – Yassine Jismi – Ayoub Amimouni.

The reserve list: Mehdi Harar – Amin Sebai – Marwan Saadan.

The 2026 World Cup will take place starting June 11, in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, in a historic edition held for the first time with the participation of 48 teams.

The Moroccan national team will begin its World Cup journey with a strong match against the Brazilian national team on Saturday, June 13, in a game expected to attract wide public and media attention, given the value of both teams.

The "Atlas Lions" hope to continue making history after the unprecedented achievement they accomplished in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, when they reached the semifinals as the first African and Arab team to achieve this feat.
