"The Blacks" are raising the pace of preparations.
The Moroccan national team has entered an advanced stage of its preparations for the 2026 World Cup, continuing its training program at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, where the technical staff is focusing on physically and tactically preparing the players before entering the global competition.
The training session held by the national team today, Saturday, saw a high pace, as the technical staff is keen to enhance the harmony among the players and correct some technical aspects related to the style of play.
This training camp comes after most of the summoned players joined the "Atlas Lions" training camp, which started yesterday, Friday, as part of the preparations for the upcoming challenges and to finalize the readiness of the group, awaiting the arrival of captain Achraf Hakimi, who played in the UEFA Champions League final today, Saturday, with Paris Saint-Germain.
As part of the preparatory program, the Moroccan team will play a friendly match against Madagascar on June 2 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, which will be an opportunity for the national coach to assess the readiness of his players before the start of the "World Cup."
The national team will begin its World Cup journey by facing the Brazilian team in Group C, which also includes Scotland and Haiti, in a group that promises strong competition for qualification spots.
