Baldini returns to the Portuguese league.

The Portuguese football club Académico de Viseu announced its signing of Moroccan international player Mohamed Bouldini, with a contract extending for one season until June 2027.

Bouldini, who is 30 years old, returns to the Portuguese league after terminating his contract with Deportivo La Coruña in Spain, following a loan spell at Granada in the second half of last season.

The Moroccan forward has significant experience in Portuguese football, having previously played for Olhanense, Académica de Coimbra, and Santa Clara. He notably excelled during his time with Académica, scoring 15 goals in 31 matches in the second division.

Bouldini stated in a comment published by Académico de Viseu that the club's project was one of the main factors that encouraged him to return to Portugal, expressing his happiness at joining a team he described as having a "family spirit," and at the warm welcome he received from day one.

The Moroccan forward added that he intends to give his all for the team, share his experience with his teammates, and benefit from their experiences, urging the club's fans to continue supporting the team during the new season.

Bouldini is the sixth signing announced by Académico de Viseu in preparation for the new season, alongside goalkeepers Ewerton Silva and Marcos Lavi, and players Andros Babic, Cristian Ferreira, and Alejandro Minestansa.

Bouldini may make his debut with his new team in their match against Benfica scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, as part of the first round of the Portuguese league.
