Watford management is keen on retaining Louza's services.

Watford's sporting director, Luke Dowling, has settled the debate regarding the future of Moroccan international Imran Louza, confirming that the rumors circulating about his potential departure from the team during the summer transfer window are nothing more than "media noise."

Dowling stated in comments reported by the "Watford Observer" that Louza is still a player for Watford, noting that the club has not received any official offers for him, despite his name being linked to several clubs, including Paris FC, Ajax Amsterdam, and Crystal Palace.

The English official explained that the Moroccan midfielder has returned to training normally after a delay in joining the team due to his participation in a preparatory camp with the Moroccan national team before the World Cup, confirming that he performed well during the closed friendly match against Brentford.

Dowling added: "Imran is still a player at Watford, and as far as I know, a lot of the noise around him in the press is just noise."

The same spokesperson continued: "We need to focus on how good Imran is. He is one of the best midfielders in this league, he helps us build play, and he is a technically gifted player who sees passes and makes the team play."

The sporting director of Watford confirmed that the club is happy with Louza's continued presence in the team, noting that he is working hard during the preparation for the new season.

Louza had lost the captaincy of Watford to his teammate Matty Pollock during the summer; however, Dowling emphasized that this decision did not cause any tension within the group, confirming that the player accepted the matter and continued to work normally.
