The French platform "Foot Mercato" reported today, Friday, that Manchester City's management has made Bouaddi one of its main targets during the current summer transfer window, after being convinced of the technical abilities of the 18-year-old player, and has been working over the past weeks to expedite negotiations with Lille to finalize the deal.

According to the same source, discussions between the two parties have reached their final stages, with great optimism within the English club about closing the deal soon, following significant progress in the negotiations.

Lille was aware, according to the same source, of the difficulty of retaining Bouaddi in light of the increasing interest he has received from several top European clubs, before Manchester City succeeded in advancing over its competitors and placing the player among its priorities to strengthen the midfield.

The report indicated that, unless unexpected developments occur, the deal will be finalized in the coming days, while the involved parties continue to discuss the final details, as Lille prepares to invest the value of the deal, which could reach around 100 million euros, in strengthening its squad during the summer transfer window.
