"Summer deals" outline the features of the championship.

With the start of August, the clubs of the professional football league returned from their summer break and began their preparations for the new season, which is expected to witness strong competition on various fronts, while teams continue their movements in the summer transfer market in search of strengthening their squads and addressing gaps before the official competitions begin.

As of now, the summer transfer market has not yet reached its peak. While some clubs have rushed to finalize several deals and strengthen their ranks with new names, other clubs have not revealed any signings through their official pages up to the time of writing these lines, which makes the remaining weeks likely to see greater activity in the transfer market.

At the forefront of the clubs that have entered the transfer market strongly is the Royal Army, after the "military team" succeeded in securing contracts with defender Nabil Marmouq, Salah Eddine Rahouli, Yassine Fafa, Congolese midfielder Merveil Ndokite, and his compatriot striker Boula Gift Kitambala, in addition to Nadir Loukmani and Marwan Oujdou, as part of its efforts to strengthen its squad in preparation for the new football season.

Similarly, Kawkab Marrakech has bolstered its squad by finalizing seven signings, which include left-back Abdelkarim Baadi, goalkeeper Mohamed Dadsi, Mohsen Rabja, Amin Al-Waad, Abdullah Himoud, Mahmoud Al-Qaisumi, and Jawad Ghabra, as part of the team's efforts to strengthen its ranks before entering the new season.

As for Ittihad Tangier, it was one of the most active clubs, having added eight players to its squad, including left-back Ashraf Laziri, Senegalese striker Ibrahima Dieng "Pauleta," goalkeeper Badr Eddin Abir, Reda Miliani, Osama Al-Sadiqi, Sanad Yarojevic, Botswana winger Gabi Mohotsiwa, and Babacar Sar.

On its part, Wydad Athletic Club finalized six signings, acquiring midfielder Salah Eddine Al-Soufi, left-back Yahya Attiyat Allah, Yahya Jibran, goalkeeper Rashid Ghanimi, Hamza Janan Allah, and Ayman Al-Hassouni, while its rival Raja Athletic Club announced its signing of left-back Shams Eddine Qnidel, midfielder Isshak Al-Zaydani, and striker Younes Al-Dahmani.

As for the defending champions, FUS Rabat announced its signing of left-back Amin Al-Farsi, center-back Abdullah Khafifi, young Senegalese defender Samba Mbeng, along with Congolese striker Christopher Ibai and South African Chigovatswa Mapasa, while Hassania Agadir also revealed the addition of playmaker Ayoub Benadi, striker Mustafa Sahd, and left-back Ayoub Boucheta.

The initial tally shows a clear disparity in the activity of the league clubs during the summer transfer market, as some teams chose to address a significant part of their needs early on to allow new players the opportunity to integrate during the preparation period, while other clubs are still moving away from official announcements or waiting for the upcoming stages of the transfer market to reveal their choices.
