Lectures enrich the horse exhibition in El Jadida.
The Horse Exhibition Association is organizing cultural and scientific lectures on Friday, October 16, as part of the activities of the seventeenth edition of the Horse Exhibition in El Jadida. This event will bring together a select group of researchers, experts, and professionals, aiming to highlight the latest scientific and cultural developments related to the world of horses and to enhance the exchange of knowledge and experiences in line with the evolution of the horse sector in Morocco.
A press release received by Hespress stated that the program will open with a scientific session addressing several contemporary topics in the field of horse health and care, including equine-assisted therapy and its application in Morocco, as well as hydrotherapy for horses and its role in improving veterinary care and rehabilitating horses, reflecting the advancements in therapeutic practices related to horses at the international level.
The program also includes a cultural session that recalls the historical and civilizational significance of horses in Morocco, through themes that discuss their presence in the royal court, their role in maintaining human physical and mental health, in addition to highlighting the attention given by Moroccan sultans to horses through historical documents, and introducing the efforts made to document the terminology related to the horse world and preserve this knowledge and cultural heritage.
The day's activities will conclude with a specialized scientific symposium organized by the Moroccan Association of Equine Veterinarians, addressing the latest developments in veterinary medicine for horses, including genetic testing, the latest techniques in castration procedures, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of some complex medical cases, contributing to the advancement of veterinary practice and the enhancement of the quality of healthcare for horses.
