The matches of Berkan and Fes in the Champions League.
The Moroccan representatives in the African Champions League, RS Berkane and FUS Rabat, learned about their paths in the new edition of the competition following the draw for the preliminary rounds, held today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the African Football Confederation in Cairo.
RS Berkane benefited from an exemption from the first preliminary round due to its continental ranking, allowing it to join the competition directly from the second preliminary round, where it will face the winner of the match between Sierra Leone's Star Sport Academy and Gambia's Medina United, in order to secure a spot in the group stage.
On the other hand, FUS Rabat will begin its journey in the competition by facing Burkina Faso's Rahimo FC in the first preliminary round, and if it qualifies, it will meet the winner of the match between Togo's ASCK and Ivory Coast's ASEC Mimosas in the second preliminary round.
The matches of the first preliminary round are scheduled to take place on September 4, 5, and 6, with the return matches on September 11, 12, and 13, while the second preliminary round matches will be held between October 16 and 18 for the first leg, and October 23 and 25 for the return leg, to determine the teams that will qualify for the group stage.
