The CAF draw determines the path for Al Ahly and Raja.
The draw for the second preliminary round of the African Confederation Cup, which took place today Thursday at the headquarters of the African Football Confederation in Cairo, resulted in two matchups that seem manageable for the Moroccan representatives, Royal Army and Raja Casablanca, at the start of their continental journey.
The national representatives benefited from being exempted from the first preliminary round, due to their continental ranking, allowing them to join the competition directly from the second preliminary round, alongside several clubs ranked in the two African competitions.
The draw placed Royal Army against the winner of the match between Chad's "AS BSI" and Ivory Coast's "Khoroko," while Raja Casablanca will face the winner of the match between Nigeria's "Al Kanemi" and Guinea-Bissau's "Odibe," in order to secure a ticket to the group stage.
The first leg matches of the second preliminary round are expected to take place between October 16 and 18, with the return matches scheduled from October 23 to 25, during which the qualifiers for the group stage of the African Confederation Cup will be determined.
