Al-Fateh Saudi Club renews Saadan's contract.
The Saudi Arabian football club Al-Fateh has renewed the contract of Moroccan defender Marwan Saadan for an additional season, allowing him to continue wearing the team's jersey until the summer of 2027, after reaching a final agreement between the two parties.
The announcement of the captain's contract extension came immediately after the friendly match in which Al-Fateh drew against the Spanish team Marbella with a score of 1-1, as part of the conclusion of the training camp held in Spain in preparation for the new football season.
In the match, Saadan participated as a starter and succeeded in scoring the only goal for his team, confirming his readiness before the start of the season's competitions, while the club had already made the decision to keep him.
The 34-year-old Moroccan defender has been one of the key players for Al-Fateh since joining the team in the summer of 2019, having played 200 matches in various competitions, including 185 matches in the Saudi Professional League and 15 matches in the King Cup.
During his career with Al-Fateh, Saadan has scored 16 goals and provided five assists, continuing to be one of the prominent Moroccan professionals in the Saudi league, relying on him to lead the backline during the upcoming season.
