Arena leads the Tawraka Union team project.
"Hasport" learned from its private sources that the Union of Tawraka Football Club has officially finalized its contract with Italian-Swiss coach Guillermo Arena, for a duration of three seasons, to lead the team starting from the 2026-2027 sports season.
The same sources confirmed that the club's management has completed all the details of the agreement with the mentioned coach, after he was chosen to lead the team's sports project, following a series of meetings and consultations that involved several names considered for the technical position.
Arena returns to the professional league after a previous experience with Maghreb de Fes, where he took over as coach during the summer of 2024, leading the team to finish the first half of the season in seventh place with 22 points, before both parties mutually agreed to part ways in December of the same year following a decline in results.
The management of Union Tawraka is counting on the Italian-Swiss coach's experience and his prior knowledge of the Moroccan football environment to establish technical stability and lead the team to achieve better results in the upcoming seasons, under the three-year contract that reflects the club officials' confidence in the new project.
