Al-Adwa joins the Emirati Al-Ittihad team.

Former Moroccan international player Issam Al-Adwa has begun his coaching career with the Emirati club Al-Ittihad, after officially joining the team's technical staff as an assistant coach, following a rich playing career during which he moved between numerous national and international clubs.

This step comes after a successful football career that Al-Adwa started at Wydad Athletic Club; he then embarked on notable professional experiences, wearing the jerseys of French clubs Lens and Nantes, the Spanish club Levante, the Portuguese clubs Vitória Guimarães and Deportivo Aves, the Chinese club Chengdu, and the Kuwaiti clubs Al-Qadsia and Kuwait, culminating at Al-Dhafra in the UAE, where he announced his retirement at the end of the 2022/2023 season.

The former international defender has supported his new step by obtaining the "AFC A" coaching certificate accredited by the Asian Football Confederation, allowing him to enter the world of technical coaching with a rich academic background and extensive field experience.
