Mourinho is awaiting the return of Brahim Diaz.

Portuguese coach José Mourinho of the Spanish football team Real Madrid confirmed that Moroccan international player Ibrahim Diaz will join the team's training tomorrow, Monday, while also expressing his concern about the incomplete list of players during the preparation period for the new season.

Mourinho's statements came after Real Madrid's 2-2 draw with Fiorentina on Saturday evening in the team's third friendly match this summer, where he noted that the absence of several key players affected the team's preparations, explaining: “I had hoped to work with all the players for three weeks; but that is not possible at the moment, as Vinicius Junior, Ibrahim Diaz, and Bernardo Silva will join the team on Monday.”

Despite the draw, Mourinho expressed satisfaction with his players' performance, pointing out that the team showed three different faces during the match. He explained: “We appeared with a fresh face, another tired, and a third extremely fatigued. We had a good first half, leading 2-1, and we could have finished it with three or four goals.” He also considered that the second half was characterized by physical strength, as Fiorentina exerted significant pressure on Real Madrid, while praising the performance of the young duo Juan and Mario, despite their lack of experience and physical strength needed to face a striker like Moise Kean.

Mourinho also praised the physical effort put in by both Denzel Dumfries and Endrick, as they participated for more than 70 minutes despite having only undergone three training sessions, saying: “This means a lot to me, and I liked everything.”

Mourinho concluded his statements by emphasizing the importance of maintaining the club's character in all circumstances, saying: “I told the young players that Real Madrid will remain Real Madrid even in friendly matches.”
