The Greek Marco signs with Al-Arabi.
The Greek club Marko, belonging to the second division, announced on Saturday the official signing of Moroccan striker Youssef Al-Arabi in a notable deal, after the player arrived in Greece in the past hours to complete the procedures for joining the team.
Al-Arabi, who is 39 years old, received a warm welcome from Marko fans at Athens Airport, where they celebrated the Moroccan star, who chose to wear the number 9 jersey with his new team.
The former Moroccan international had been a free agent since the end of his stint with Nantes in France, where he played 27 matches in various competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
Al-Arabi previously defended the colors of Olympiacos in Greece between 2019 and 2024, achieving many accomplishments with them, most notably winning three Greek league titles and a Greek Cup, in addition to leading the team to victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
During his career with Olympiacos, Youssef Al-Arabi played 225 matches, scoring 94 goals and providing 25 assists, making him one of the most prominent strikers in the club's history in recent years.
