The Marrakech club signs with Baadi.
The Kawkab Marrakech Club has finalized its contract with left-back Abdelkarim Baadi in a free transfer, following the end of his association with Raja Casablanca, as part of the team's efforts to strengthen its squad in preparation for the new football season.
"Hesport" learned from a reliable source that Baadi has officially signed his contract to join the Marrakech team and will be present in training starting today, Saturday, after the technical staff led by Youssef Safri was convinced of his technical and physical abilities.
On the other hand, the management of the Marrakech team has retracted its idea of signing striker Younes Najari, despite the expiration of his contract with Olympique Safi, following a wave of criticism expressed by the club's fans upon hearing news of his potential return.
A responsible source indicated that the fans' rejection stems from an incident that occurred five years ago when Kawkab signed Najari, but a ban on transfers prevented him from being registered.
After the player resorted to the Dispute Resolution Committee to terminate his contract, the club rushed to settle his financial dues to retain his services, but he later chose to sign with Olympique Safi immediately after the ban was lifted, which caused dissatisfaction among the team's supporters who still refuse his return.
