Lahouj welcomes the withdrawal of Infantino's proposal.

A statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirmed that its president, Fouzi Lekjaa, welcomed the decision of FIFA President Gianni Infantino to withdraw the proposal for the "FIFA Forward Enterprise" project.

The statement added that the progress made in global football in recent years, thanks to the development programs launched by FIFA, particularly in the African continent, is an achievement that should be preserved for the benefit of all member associations.

The statement also emphasized that, despite the differences in viewpoints raised by this reform project, its importance remains, and the unity of the football family is a priority.

It noted that the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation considered the decision of the FIFA president to be a wise one, as it reinforces the spirit of solidarity and cohesion among the member associations of FIFA, within a participatory approach aimed at developing football.

The statement indicated that on this occasion, the president of the federation renewed his support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino in all initiatives aimed at developing football globally.

The statement concluded by affirming that the unity of global football remains the conviction that governs this large family in all decisions made.
