Sabiri officially joins Turkish club Ayoob Spor.
The Turkish club Ayoob Spor announced on Friday its official signing of Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri during the current summer transfer window, in a move aimed at strengthening the team's squad in preparation for the new season.
The Turkish club clarified that the Moroccan midfielder signed a contract extending for two seasons, with an option to extend for a third season by mutual agreement, as part of its project to reinforce the squad with players who have experience in European leagues.
Sabiri's (29 years old) transfer comes after a professional career during which he has had several experiences in European leagues, and he aims to regain his technical level and return to prominence, after seasons marked by varying participation with the clubs he represented.
Ayoob Spor is betting on the player's abilities in playmaking and adding offensive solutions to the team, benefiting from his international experience with the Moroccan national team, while Sabiri aspires to quickly establish himself in his new lineup and deliver a strong season that brings him back into the spotlight on both local and international levels.
