South Africa thanks Belgian Bruce.

The South African Football Association announced the departure of Belgian coach Hugo Broos from his position as head coach of the national team today, Friday.

Pretoria expressed gratitude to the coach for the time he spent leading the national team, which will conclude at the end of this month, coinciding with the end of his contract.

The association wrote on its official account on X: "Today, as you leave your position as coach of South Africa, we want to take a moment to express our deep thanks and appreciation for everything you have done for South African football."

Broos has been in charge of South Africa since May 2021, leading the team in 60 matches, achieving 29 victories, 19 draws, and 12 losses, the last of which was against Canada with a score of 0-1 in the Round of 32 of the World Cup, marking an exit from the tournament in the first knockout stage.
