Hind Al-Hassanawi undergoes surgery.

The electronic newspaper Hespress learned from a private source that the national women's football team player Hind Al-Hassnawi underwent surgery yesterday, Wednesday, at a private clinic in Rabat on her left leg, due to the injury she sustained during training sessions just a few days before the start of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.

The same source highlighted that Al-Hassnawi, who plays as a goalkeeper, suffered a serious injury that required surgical intervention, which forced her to miss the continental competition at a time when she was preparing to participate with the national team in the African event.

Hespress's source revealed that the surgery was successful, and the player is currently undergoing a period of rest and recovery before starting a treatment and rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff, with the aim of regaining her physical fitness and returning to the field, whether with the national team or her club, the Royal Army.

The same source pointed out that Al-Hassnawi has received support and encouragement from her teammates within the national team since her injury, as well as from officials of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, in addition to her family members, friends, and several sports fans who expressed their wishes for her speedy recovery and quick return to the fields.
