Exclusion of "Volleyball Cubs" in Egypt
The Egyptian national team for under 18 years achieved a victory over their Moroccan counterpart with a score of three sets to none, in the final round of the group stage of the African U18 Girls Volleyball Championship, held at the "Pioneers" club in Alexandria from July 20 to 30, with the participation of 14 African teams.
The Egyptian youth team managed to win the competitive sets against the Moroccan team with scores of 25/14, 25/15, and 25/17.
The Egyptian team regained its balance with this victory after starting its campaign in the tournament with a win over Burundi with a score of 3/0, before suffering a loss to Nigeria with a score of 3/1 in the second round, finishing the group stage in second place in Group A.
On the other hand, the "young volleyball players" ended their journey in the group stage without achieving any victory, as they lost to Nigeria 3/0 in the first round, and then to Burundi with the same score in the second round.
Group A of the African U18 Girls Volleyball Championship includes the teams of Egypt, Nigeria, Burundi, and Morocco.
