Motsipe attends the opening of the "Women's Cup."
The capital Rabat welcomed today the President of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, who arrived in Morocco to attend the opening ceremony of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2026," which kicks off amid great anticipation for the participation of the continent's top teams.
Motsepe was received upon his arrival in Rabat by the Secretary General of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Tarik Najm, along with the acting Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football, Samson Adamu.
The presence of the CAF President underscores the importance of the current edition of the tournament, hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco, amid ongoing efforts to develop women's football across the African continent and enhance its status on the international stage.
