The same source confirmed that the 58-year-old Portuguese coach will embark on his first coaching experience on the African continent, as he is nearing a final agreement with the management of the red club to take over the technical direction of the team.
Paulo Sergio arrives at Wydad after a two-year stint in the Saudi league, benefiting from a coaching career that has spanned several leagues, having previously worked in Scotland, Romania, Cyprus, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates, among other stops.
