Olympic Safi loses Youssef Al-Mutai.
Goalkeeper Youssef Al-Mutai has initiated legal proceedings aimed at terminating the contract that binds him to Olympic Safi, after exhausting all the procedures outlined in the regulations of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, due to not receiving his financial dues.
According to informed sources for "Hesport," the legal deadline that Al-Mutai granted to the management of Olympic Safi, set at 15 days, has expired without the player receiving his outstanding payments, prompting him to move to the next stage of the process.
The same sources confirmed that the goalkeeper's case has been officially referred to the Disputes Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, in order to initiate the contract termination procedures, after the club failed to respond to the notice sent by the player within the legal timeframe.
Youssef Al-Mutai joined the ranks of "the Safi Shark" during the last winter transfer window, with a contract extending for a season and a half, coming from Wydad Athletic Club, in a move through which the Safi team relied on his experience to strengthen the goalkeeper position.
