Ferdinand, a former player for the "Red Devils," added during the "Rio Presents" podcast that Mazraoui returned from the World Cup in top form, enjoying great confidence and high rhythm, noting that major tournaments sometimes provide a moral and technical boost to players, and that smart coaches know how to take advantage of that.

He pointed out that what he likes most about Mazraoui is his calmness under pressure, explaining that he excels in tight spaces, handles the ball with confidence, and knows when to move into the center and when to maintain his position on the flank.

He confirmed that these qualities would be very important if Michael Carrick wants Manchester United to impose more control over matches.

Ferdinand emphasized that Diogo Dalot is a very good player and has been a reliable element in Manchester United's squad, but he clarified that football is based on readiness and competition, and no player should have a guaranteed spot in the starting lineup.
