Amrabat leaves the plans of the Fenerbahçe coach.
The Turkish newspaper "Fanatik" confirmed that Moroccan international Sofyan Amrabat is close to leaving Fenerbahçe during the current summer transfer window, as he has fallen out of the plans of coach Ismail Kartal for the new season.
The newspaper added that Fenerbahçe has received offers in the past that were less than 10 million euros, before Saudi club Al-Ittihad made an offer worth 15 million euros, including bonuses, according to "TRT Spor."
It clarified that the Turkish club's management insists on receiving 20 million euros in exchange for parting with the Moroccan midfielder.
It pointed out that negotiations are not limited to Al-Ittihad, as Fenerbahçe is also continuing talks with another Saudi club and two European clubs interested in the player's services.
The newspaper highlighted that Amrabat, who is 29 years old, has a contract with Fenerbahçe that extends for two more seasons, after spending last season on loan at Real Betis in Spain.
