The new one celebrates the horse and serving humanity.

Under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, the city of El Jadida will host the 17th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show from October 13 to 18, 2026, at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center, under the theme "The Horse in the Service of Humanity."

According to a statement from the Horse Association received by Hespress, this event is organized in the context of continuing to enhance its position as a national and international reference event in the equestrian sector, following a journey that began in 2008 and has seen continuous development in infrastructure, organization, and quality of reception, alongside an expanding influence within professional, cultural, and sports circles related to the world of horses.

The exhibition brings together various stakeholders in the sector, including breeders, riders, artisans, researchers, institutions, and professionals, along with the public, making it a platform for valuing the national equestrian sector and supporting the development of its multiple components.

The theme of this edition focuses on highlighting the deep relationship that has connected humans with horses throughout history, considering them as partners in work, symbols of heritage, and drivers of sports, culture, and entertainment. It also emphasizes the responsibility of humans in preserving the dignity of horses and ensuring their well-being and proper treatment.

The theme also reflects the multiple roles that horses play in economic, social, and cultural development, in line with the exhibition's vision aimed at showcasing the sports, cultural, artistic, educational, and professional dimensions of the equestrian sector.

The 2026 edition will represent a new milestone in enhancing the international presence of the exhibition. The "Grand Prize of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for Show Jumping" will be elevated to a five-star classification recognized in the "CSI5*-W" World Cup qualifiers, while another international competition will rise from a one-star level "CSI1*" to a two-star level "CSI2*."

This development is expected to strengthen the position of the El Jadida Horse Show within the agenda of international equestrian events and solidify its role as a showcase for Moroccan expertise and a space for interaction between national equestrian practices and international standards, as well as providing a more demanding and open competitive environment for Moroccan riders.

The "Grand Prize of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for Tbourida" will be one of the highlights of the 17th edition, featuring the best teams from various regions of the kingdom in a competition between regions. This competition is expected to showcase the skills of traditional Moroccan horsemanship, the spirit of collective harmony, technical mastery, and the richness of the national cultural heritage.
