The Moroccan football club FUS de Rabat has settled the debate that surrounded the past hours regarding the possibility of signing the Moroccan international striker Youssef En-Nesyri, to replace the departure of striker Soufiane Benjdida to Al Ahly of Egypt during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Hesport learned from a responsible source within the club that the management of "FUS" has not entered into any negotiations with Youssef En-Nesyri or his entourage, firmly denying the accuracy of the news linking the player to a transfer to the Moroccan champion.

The same source clarified that the large annual salary that the Moroccan international receives makes the idea of signing him out of the calculations of FUS at the moment, considering the financial capabilities of the club.

The newspaper's source added that the club is currently focusing on the recruitment file according to the priorities set by the sports and technical management, especially after signing the new Portuguese coach Rui Almeida, in addition to managing the file of some players who are attracting the interest of other clubs.

According to local media reports, the Saudi Federation is looking for a potential replacement for En-Nesyri while allowing the player to seek a new team during the ongoing summer transfer window.

It is worth noting that the FUS de Rabat football team released its player Soufiane Benjdida to Al Ahly of Egypt for a financial amount estimated at 300 million centimes; after finishing last season as the league's top scorer with 20 goals, and is now required to look for a new striker before the upcoming continental competitions, most notably participation in the African Champions League.
