Zamalek resolves the "Bentaik dues" crisis.
The Egyptian football club Zamalek has successfully resolved the issue of the dues owed to the French club Saint-Étienne, related to the transfer of Moroccan left-back Mahmoud Bentaïk, after the FIFA lifted the case from the list of disputes registered against the club.
According to an update from FIFA's electronic system, the "Saint-Étienne case" has disappeared from Zamalek's files, following the settlement of the financial dues to the French club, in a move that paves the way for lifting the restrictions imposed on the Egyptian club during the ongoing summer transfer window.
This step is part of Zamalek's management efforts to close outstanding issues with FIFA, aiming to end the registration ban and strengthen the team's squad in preparation for the upcoming football season.
