Moroccan international Amir Richardson has officially returned to French football club Le Havre, where he will once again wear the sky blue and navy jersey in the 2026-2027 season.

Richardson left the club in 2023 after contributing to the team's victory in the French second division title, before experiencing a stint with Stade de Reims during the 2023-2024 season, and then moving to Fiorentina in Italy after winning a bronze medal with the Moroccan Olympic team at the Olympics.

During his first season with Fiorentina, the 24-year-old midfielder played 39 matches in various competitions, including Serie A and the UEFA Europa Conference League, before being loaned in the second half of last season to FC Copenhagen in Denmark.

Richardson now returns to his home club as an international player with the Moroccan national team, having gained significant experience and maturity. The club also noted that the player has grown to two meters (2.00 m), after previously representing Le Havre between 2019 and 2023, during which he played 69 matches with the first team.

The player expressed his great happiness at returning, confirming that he feels like he has come home, which delighted Le Havre fans who considered him one of the most beloved players on the team. The club also chose Amir Richardson to be the face presenting the new team jersey for the 2026-2027 season, in a move that reflects his strong connection to the club and its colors, as he will spend the next season with Le Havre on loan from Fiorentina.
