National coach Reda Hakem announced his apology for not continuing his role at the head of the technical staff of Kawkab Marrakech, just a few days after his appointment, justifying his decision by the atmosphere that accompanied his return to the club.

Hakem explained, in a statement published on his personal account, that his decision came after deep reflection and consultation with his family members, in light of the campaign targeting him on social media, along with the rejection of his return to lead the team. He confirmed that he chose to withdraw in order to prioritize the club's interests and his desire to work in a calm and positive environment.

The coach also expressed his gratitude to the club's president, Idriss Hanifa, for understanding his position, wishing success to Kawkab Marrakech in the upcoming sports season.

This development comes after a series of changes that the team's technical staff has undergone recently, as Reda Hakem had led Kawkab to achieve promotion to the first professional division last season, before being dismissed and replaced by Rachid Taoussi, followed by the appointment of Hicham Dmiri, who succeeded in ensuring the team's survival in the first division, before his contract ended without reaching an agreement on renewal.

Despite the club management's decision to re-sign Reda Hakem, the move sparked a wave of criticism among fans and observers, who believed that the club continues to rely on the same options, leading to this return ending quickly with the coach's apology for continuing the mission before the start of the new season.
