Jamal and Boro are training away from the group.
The Spaniards Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro trained separately from the group today, Thursday, during the training session of the Spanish national team in New Jersey, as part of the preparations for the match against Argentina in the World Cup final, scheduled for Sunday.
The two players participated in a separate training program within the facilities of the New York Red Bulls, as part of a plan to manage physical loads, according to what the Spanish Football Federation confirmed to Reuters, noting that they will be ready to participate in the final.
Spanish national team coach Luis de la Fuente explained after the victory over France in the semi-finals that Porro felt some pain. Information obtained by Reuters indicated that the full-back is suffering from a strain in the hamstring, but the injury is not considered serious.
As for Lamine Yamal, his condition appears to be more stable. Although De la Fuente confirmed after the France match that the player "is not suffering from anything," the effects of the strong tackles he faced, especially with Lucas Digne and Theo Hernandez, showed up as bruises and pain the day after the match.
The Spanish coaching staff is focusing on preparing Yamal and Porro, along with the rest of the players, in the best physical condition before the anticipated final.
The open part of the training session proceeded normally, as the players appeared to be in good spirits despite the high humidity and temperatures reaching around 30 degrees Celsius.
Spain has three days to acclimate to the climatic conditions in New Jersey before playing its second match in the tournament in an open stadium.
