Diaz: The journey of the "Lions" national team continues.
Moroccan international Ibrahim Diaz sent a message to Moroccan fans following the conclusion of the national team's journey in the 2026 World Cup, affirming that the exit of the "Atlas Lions" will not be the end of the road, but rather the beginning of a new phase to achieve more successes.
Diaz wrote in a post shared on his official social media accounts: "Our journey in the World Cup ended a few days ago.. We leave with sadness, but it doesn't end here.. We will come back stronger, and more determined for our country."
The national team player added: "Thank you from the heart to all the Moroccan fans for their unconditional support.. You were with us every step of the way, and your encouragement meant a lot to us," concluding his message by saying: "The best is yet to come."
Diaz's message comes after he made a remarkable appearance in the 2026 World Cup, where he ranks second in the list of the best assist providers, having provided four key passes, behind French player Michel Olize, who topped the ranking with five key passes.
