La Fuente: Spain is the best team in the world.

Spanish national team coach Luis de la Fuente praised his players, describing them as "the best team in the world" on Tuesday after the impressive 2-0 victory over France in the World Cup semi-final.

De la Fuente had repeatedly stated that Spain is the best team in the tournament, and he appeared very proud after "La Roja" outperformed France and secured a spot in the World Cup final scheduled for Sunday.

This victory represents a new tactical masterpiece for the Spanish coach, who led "La Roja" to win the European Championship title in 2024, and has now achieved his third consecutive victory over France in official matches.

De la Fuente said: "We started about four years ago with an idea, and we remained faithful to that idea, which has brought us to where we are today."

He added, "Today we faced one of the best national teams in the world, but they found in front of them the best team in the world. And that is different."

De la Fuente will make his first appearance with Spain in a World Cup final since 2010.
