"The Spanish matador" soars over the wings of the "French roosters" towards global glory.
The Spanish "matador" team renewed its dominance over the "French Roosters" by defeating them 2-0 and reaching the final match of the 2026 World Cup in football, on Tuesday in Dallas.
Mikel Oyarzabal (22) and Pedro Porro (58) scored the goals for Spain, which has eliminated the "Blues" in three consecutive tournaments, following the 2024 European Championship (2-1) and the 2025 UEFA Nations League final (5-4).
Spain will meet either the defending champion Argentina or England in the final next Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (New Jersey/New York), as they face each other on Wednesday in the second semifinal match in Atlanta.
