The national voter denies the departure of Sacramento.

The national coach, Mohamed Wahbi, confirmed that everything circulated in recent days regarding the departure of his first assistant, Portuguese João Sacramento, is nothing but rumors, emphasizing that the latter will continue his work within the technical staff after his vacation.

Wahbi explained during the press conference dedicated to evaluating the "Atlas Lions" participation in the World Cup that such news usually spreads after defeats, considering that it aims to create confusion without any basis.

The coach of the "Atlas Lions" praised the significant role played by Sacramento, confirming that he is emotionally connected to Morocco and loves working with the national team, and that his presence has been influential within the group, adding that the technical staff is happy with his continuation.

In this context, the national coach expressed his displeasure at the promotion of what he described as "nonsense," affirming his acceptance of criticism related to technical or tactical choices, but he rejects news that aims to destabilize the national team.

Wahbi also settled the debate regarding the news of a disagreement between him and Sofyan Amrabat, firmly denying the existence of any crisis between them, and confirming that the player was only feeling frustrated due to the limited opportunities he had during the tournament.

The coach revealed that he included Amrabat in the squad after confirming his strong commitment in training, and informed him from the beginning that his role would be important even if he did not start in all matches. He added that the player accepted the situation and continued to work seriously, which allowed him to gain playing minutes during the competition.

Regarding the statements made by Amrabat's brother, Wahbi considered them to have been made out of emotion, affirming that families experience great pressure in such situations.

He concluded by emphasizing that Amrabat has a strong personality, and if he had any real problem with him, he would have spoken to him directly, stressing that their relationship is normal and free of any disputes.
