Al-Husseini explained, during the program "Strategic Dimensions," that Moroccans, Arabs, and Africans were proud of the "Atlas Lions" reaching the ranks of the best eight teams in the world, considering this achievement unprecedented at both the Arab and African levels; as it reflects a remarkable development in Moroccan football and its ability to compete with the world's top teams.
The international relations expert paused at the Moroccan team's match against its French counterpart, noting that the game was characterized by a clear superiority of the French team, unlike previous matches where the national team had shown great levels against global teams.
The speaker highlighted that goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was the most notable exception in the match, as he demonstrated "unmatched skill and tenacity" and contributed to limiting the danger of the French attack, according to his expression.
