"Dar es Salaam" in Rabat hosts the competitions of the 41st edition of "Horse Week."
Today, Sunday, the activities of the 41st edition of the "Horse Week" kicked off at the Royal Equestrian Complex in Dar es Salaam, Rabat, featuring the participation of elite riders from across the country, with nearly 400 participants.
The riders will compete over nine days in the championship organized by the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Federation under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, on the Dar es Salaam arenas, vying for the title of Champion of Morocco. The first day witnessed strong competition among the junior riders in the first qualifying round, while the audience will follow the adult and senior categories in the evening.
The final day, Sunday, July 19, will represent the absolute peak of this edition with two major and prestigious competitions: the prize of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Hassan:
A major competition for youth equestrian sports, coinciding with the final of the Morocco Championship for the under-13 category (U13); and the grand prize of His Majesty King Mohammed VI: the supreme competition in this gathering, coinciding with the prestigious final of the Morocco Championship for the senior category.
Imane Fadloun, who qualified first for the next round in the junior category, stated that "the credit first goes to God Almighty, then to her parents, and to the valuable advice provided by her coach," expressing her gratitude to the club she belongs to and her great confidence in her abilities.
The competitor also added that regarding training, she works on overcoming various training paths and applying goals throughout the week. As the competition date approaches, the horses are given a rest to be in the best readiness, confirming that the competition on the first day was honorable and strong.
Ibrahim Bensiah, who qualified first for the next round in the under-13 category, in which he has won the title twice (2022/2024), said that this is his fifth participation, expressing his happiness with this achievement and confirming that he will do his utmost to present his best.
