Raja Casablanca Club thanks Bougrine.
The curtain has officially fallen on Saber Bougrine's career with Raja Casablanca, after the "Green Club" bid farewell to its player with a brief post on its official accounts that read: "Thank you Bougrine," paying tribute to him for the time he defended the team's colors.
Bougrine, who joined Raja during the presidency of former president Mohamed Boudrika, made a name for himself early on, significantly contributing to the team's success in winning the Professional League and the King's Cup, thanks to the impact he had in the midfield.
However, the player's status within the team was affected by a decline in his performance level during the last season, which led the current management board to condition a reduction in his annual signing bonus in exchange for renewing his contract, as part of the club's new financial policy aimed at reducing expenses and controlling the wage bill.
With Bougrine insisting on rejecting the proposal to lower his salary, both parties agreed to amicably terminate their relationship, allowing the player to be free to choose his next destination, while the Raja management continues to organize the internal structure and strengthen the squad in preparation for the new season.
