"Basketball young women" renew their defeat against Algeria.
The Moroccan women's basketball team under 18 years old has once again defeated their Algerian counterpart with a score of 67-45 in the return match held this evening, Sunday, in the city of Sfax, Tunisia, as part of the African Cup qualifiers (first region).
The first leg match, which took place last Thursday, ended in favor of the Moroccans with a score of 65-53.
Participating in this youth category qualifying tournament, which will continue until July 13, are the teams from Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia.
According to the tournament system, the three teams play home and away matches, after which the team that finishes in first place will qualify for the African Basketball Championship for under 18 years, which will be hosted by Ivory Coast from August 5 to 16.
