Bellingham's duo ends Haaland's adventure and leads England to the World Cup semifinals.
Jude Bellingham led the England national team to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup, after scoring both winning goals against Norway (2-1) in the match held on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, USA, as part of the quarter-finals.
The Norwegian team opened the scoring in the 36th minute through Andreas Schjelderup, who shot with his left foot from the left side of the penalty area, deceiving goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and hitting the post before settling in the net, marking his second international goal and Norway's first goal against England since 1993.
Bellingham equalized for England in the second minute of stoppage time in the first half, after receiving a cross from Anthony Gordon, dribbling past the Norwegian defense, and shooting a low ball with his left foot into the net.
The score remained tied (1-1) until the end of regular time, leading both teams to extra time, during which Bellingham succeeded in scoring the winning goal in the 93rd minute, after following up on a ball that rebounded off goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland from a powerful shot taken by Morgan Rogers from outside the penalty area.
Bellingham raised his tally to six goals in the current World Cup edition, having previously scored against Croatia and Panama in the group stage, and then netting a brace against Mexico in the Round of 16.
The Real Madrid star also reached 12 goals in 54 international matches wearing the England national team jersey.
With this victory, the "Three Lions" secured their place in the semi-finals, where they will face the winner of the match between Argentina and Switzerland.
On the other hand, Norwegian star Erling Haaland's tally stopped at seven goals in the current World Cup edition, as he failed to find the net against England in the quarter-final match.
